“It’s not the size of the dog in a fight that matters.
It’s the size of the fight in the dog.”  President Eisenhower

Dear Marjorie,
When I came across this quote, I had to agree with the concept! And it also made me think…how much “fight” do I have to do what I have to do today?? Because each of us has a calling, a job, a ministry…something so special nobody can do it for us!! So…how about checking on the “fight” in the dog instead of looking at the dog! And when all is said and done, what really matters is what we did…not what we planned to do, not what we hoped to do…but simply what we did!! We are called to be fruitful….
And you are receiving this letter (“from Evelyn’s desk”) because you are “doing” blessings to the Jimenez-Saint family in Argentina. You have put a lot of “fight” in our work, and encouraged us with your gifts from far away! (Even as troubled times are part of the US today…). So thank you so much for sharing your care with us.
On September I had the privilege of presenting my first book for children, called “Federico’s Search” (in Spanish) illustrated by a young Christian artist here in Cordoba, at the City Book Fair in the main plaza of our city.  I also finished a week-end translating for two couples from England and the States who donate their time, their ministry and an all expenses-paid seminar in our beautiful mountains of Cordoba for over 150 pastors and leaders. With Humberto we enjoyed their teaching and ministry…and Valerie Bennett preached at our church on a Sunday morning. A wonderful challenge for our congregation! More in our next newsletter…
So…we are challenged, enriched, and responsibilities are added…as our hearts are enlarged and strengthened.
So…again, thank you for being there, thank you for your support, your care and as a family here we are so blessed!
