We are the Bibles the world is reading;
We are the creeds the world is needing;
We are the sermons the world is heeding.

Córdoba, October 2011

Dearest friends,
We are entering our spring, praying to God to send much needed rain to our province!
But glad to be blessed with warmer weather once again! (Some rain has been arriving, Praise the Lord!)
We have been busy, enjoying different activities.
Churchwise, we organized an evangelistic activity in a neighboring plaza in a poor area on our city, with over 100 children with a special activity for them with clowns, games, toys and feeding them chocolate milk and cakes!! We have a home group of about 30 adults in that area, and are interested also in reaching their parents.
With Humberto we travelled in August to Pehuajó, a small town 10 hours away, south of Córdoba, in the province of La Pampa, where we met with around 30 pastors and wives who all travelled to be there in a conference prepared specifically for them: so we taught a full day on issues that pastors and their wives live, and it was an interesting time! Some subjects: wives, children, time administration, recreation and others.
We also taught at two marriage encounters in different churches, one on the enemies of love to about 150 couples, and the other on finances and communication to 60 couples. A cultural fact? Both these meetings were held at 10 pm at night, our late Latin hours… which means the activities end past midnight!
In the next photo you can see a practical “audition” for students of our music school, leading the worship on Sunday morning… so amazing to see children singing and worshipping and playing instruments!
Great news! We are finishing putting the ceramic floor on our church building! After having had a plain cement floor for over ten years, we have taken the challenge to put in the floor (over U$ 10,000), and you can imagine what a difference it makes!
More good news. Our son Ari was blessed with 2 jobs, for which we had been praying for some time! He is now teaching at the University of Journalism (he teaches video editing) and is also working part time at an educational institute, as a creative designer for its magazine and web sources… Sebastian is also working part time at a coffee shop nearby, which keeps him busy added to his college studies and soccer and music practice! Nathalie is also starting work as a communications consultant. And she works freelancing as a make up artist on Saturdays, for weddings and such, which she absolutely loves!
What’s ahead of this 2011?
I will graduate as family counsellor in December, whoppee!! I really enjoyed studying these 3 years with a Christian training course.
So… we are blessed, happy and believing God to continue answering prayer and giving us the strength and wisdom each day!
We also pray for all of you who are part of us, reading the newsletter, donating and praying for us. Many things are possible through your participation!

In Him,
Evelyn
